Audubon Country Club - Freddie Sauer Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must have a 2.5 GPA
  • For current full time and part time employees of Audubon Country Club who have a minimum of 2 years of service.
  • Dependents are defined as a spouse or a child of the employee.
  • Upload all required documentation to the online application.

Bentley Village Foundation Wings Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requirements:

  • a Bentley Village employee who receives a W-2 or 1099 form from Vi at Bentley Village; and/or
  • qualified dependents of an employee who receives a W-2 or 1099. To qualify as a dependent of a current worker at Bentley Village, applicants must be listed as a “Dependent” on the employee’s IRS tax forms.
  • Upload all required documentation to the online application. You need to upload two (2) letters of recommendation.

The Glenview Employee Scholarship

Eligibility requirements:

  • For The Glenview employees with at least one year of employment (full-time or part-time).
  • Applicant may pursue an educational program at a: Community College, Technical/Vocational School, College undergraduate level or graduate level.
  • Awards may be used for tuition, books and fees.
  • This scholarship is renewable for one additional year as long as the student keeps a 2.50 GPA or higher.

Grey Oaks Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requirements:

  • Applications may be submitted by current full-time and part-time employees wishing to further their education and personal development.
  • Students may be planning on attending a certification course, a college, university, or technical college in pursuit of a post-secondary degree.
  • Applications may be submitted by current permanent and season staff members (full time and part time) and their immediate family members including children and spouses (team members cannot be on probation).
  • Team members must work a minimum of 25 hours / week.
  • Team members must have worked at Grey Oaks for a period of eight (8) months in order to apply. Seasonal team members may reach the eight (8) month period if he/she has worked for two (2) consecutive seasons.
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.25 to apply.
    Students will be asked to submit an essay focusing on their future plans in education.
  • Students must include one (1) letter of recommendation in their application.

The Moorings Park Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility requirements:

  • Applications may be submitted by current full-time and part-time employees (with at least one year of employment) of Moorings Park and their children or grandchildren.
  • Awards may be used for tuition, books and lab fees.
  • This scholarship is renewable for one additional year as long as the student keeps a 2.50 GPA or higher.

The Port Royal Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requirements:

  • This scholarship’s purpose to provide financial assistance to individuals to further their educational pursuits.
  • Applicants for the scholarship must be an employee of The Port Royal Club or a member of the employee’s immediate family.
  • The applicant must have a high school education or an equivalent education.
  • The applicant or immediate family member must have completed one year of service and work an average of 20 hours per month November 1st through April 30th.
  • If the applicant is a dependent (a child) of the employee they must be 26 years of age or younger to be eligible to apply.
  • All funds must be utilized before reapplying and the students may take up to two years to utilize the award.
  • This scholarship has an April 1 and October 1 deadline each year.

The Port Royal Club Application

The Royal Poinciana Employees and Dependents Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requirements:

  • For current full-time and part-time employees of Royal Poinciana Golf Club, Inc. (both seasonal and non-seasonal) having a minimum of 90-days of service and having completed the probationary period; and
  • The children (under the age of 26) and spouses who live in the same household of eligible Royal Poinciana employees.
  • Scholarships are granted on a yearly basis. Recipients may receive up to four scholarship grants from the Royal Poinciana Employees and Dependents Scholarship Fund. No one may receive funds in excess of the actual expenses of attending school.

Selection Criteria includes:

  • Educational background
  • Grade Point Average (GPA)
  • Personal Statement
  • Letters of Recommendation (up to 3)
  • Other activities

Qualifying Schools or Colleges:

  • Grants will be awarded to applicants who have provided evidence of their acceptance for enrollment to accredited colleges, universities, community colleges, and/or trade or professional schools.

Maximum Annual Grant Award:

  • Grant awards shall be determined annually by the RP Scholarship Committee. This year’s recipients may receive up to $10,000 in any particular academic year.

Royal Poinciana Application

Shadow Wood Charitable Foundation Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requirements:

  • For current employees of Shadow Wood Country Club (SWCC) or Shadow Wood Community Association (SWCA), or the child, age 26 years or younger, of an eligible employee.
  • The applicant, or the employee whose child is the applicant, must have been employed by SWCC or SWCA for a minimum of one (1) year.
  • The applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • The applicant must be pursuing a post-secondary education at an accredited college or university, a community college, or technical college (i.e. vocational school).
  • The applicant must demonstrate financial need.
  • The applicant must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from non-family members.
  • Awards may be used for tuition, books and fees

Quail West Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requirements:

  • For current full time and part time employees and their dependents of Quail West.
  • Must be employed for 6 months.
  • Scholarships are granted on a yearly basis. Recipients may receive 1 renewal for a total of 2 years on scholarship, if the criteria is met.
  • No one may receive funds in excess of the actual expenses of attending school.
  • Awards may be used for tuition, books and fees
