Annual Appeal 2019

The Community Foundation is a catalyst for connecting public needs with private dollars

For almost 35 years – The Community Foundation of Collier County has partnered with friends like you to inspire ideas, ignite action, and mobilize resources with one common goal: to positively impact the place we call home.

Last year, the Community Foundation of Collier County distributed almost $19 million in grants and scholarships, the most substantial amount in our history. The resonating concept at the core of our work is the partnerships we have formed in our community. These collaborations with public and private foundations, local government, nonprofits and individuals alike, have created real and lasting improvements.

In the past year, we have continued to lead the community, connecting public needs with private dollars by:

  • Providing a grant for Collier County officials to hire consultants to craft a new arts and culture strategic plan to establish Collier as an arts and culture destination,
  • Funding a first-ever adult mental health and substance abuse strategic plan to align growing community needs with services,
  • Helping the Collier County Parks & Recreation Division purchase 56 trees to provide natural shade at the popular Immokalee Sports Complex,
  • Collaborating with the City of Naples to launch an ambitious program to replace 2,000 trees destroyed by Hurricane Irma.

Yhank you for your generous support.  By making your gift today, you can continue to play a pivotal role in building a stronger community, creating brighter futures and ensuring a more vibrant Collier County.
